“Mark My Words” Music Video Mini-Mission #1 (1 of 2)

HEY TEAM!

As you all have probably heard by now our boys in For All Those Sleeping are releasing their new music video for “Mark My Words” Monday, February 4th! This video has a lot of anticipation behind it and we really need to help make this music video have a huge release!

MISSION DESCRIPTION: Promote the new “Mark My Words” music video by completing the following tasks. This is a two-part mission. You must complete the both parts of the mission to receive the prize.

Go Radio - #GoToHell Tour Signups!

Hey Everyone!

Go Radio will be headlining the #GoToHell Tour in support of their new album Close The Distance this fall (November 2nd - December 4th) with special guests Paradise Fears and Stages & Stereos! This is a huge tour for the guys, so we’ll need your help making this tour as successful as possible. If you would like to help out, read the following information very carefully, and sign up as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT: Only sign up if you are 100% sure you can complete your pre-show report which is due one week prior to the show and a post-show report due no later than one week after your show. You must be able to attend the show to participate. Guest list spots are hard to come by and we need to make sure we are reserving them for teamers that deserve them!

For promoting before the show:

-RSVP to your date for tour on Facebook under Go Radio’s tour dates, invite at least 10-15 of your friends that are concert-goers or avid music listeners. (2 screenshots, one of the event saying you are “attending” on your wall, and the other of you inviting your friends - please note the invite button will be found on your wall under the event)

-Share Go Radio’s tour poster on Facebook and tag all the bands on the tour. Make sure to mention how excited you are to see Go Radio at your upcoming show and encourage your friends to attend the show. Include the date, time, venue, a link to purchase the tickets online, & don’t forget to tag the band. (1 screenshot)

-Share Go Radio’s lyric video for “Go To Hell” on Facebook. Talk about your favorite lyrics from the song, and why you like it. Tag the band and make sure you mention how you’re excited to see them live at your upcoming show. Don’t forget to add the link to purchase tickets & to tag the band. (1 screenshot)

-Share Go Radio’s tour poster on Twitter. Make sure to mention how excited you are to see Go Radio at your upcoming show and encourage your friends to attend the show. Include the date, time, venue, a link to purchase the tickets online, & don’t forget to tag the band! (1 screenshot)

-Search for users tweeting about the venue Go Radio will be playing at for the #GoToHell Tour. Reply to them and let them know Go Radio has a upcoming show at the venue they are talking about and include the link to the “Go To Hell” lyric video. Make sure mention the date of the show and that you are relating your replies to their original tweet so it doesn’t look like spam. Avoid tweeting anyone already talking about Go Radio’s upcoming show. The point is create awareness about Go Radio and their upcoming show to potential new fans. (5 screenshots)

-Find a few epic live photos from Go Radio’s recent tours and create a photo set on tumblr. Make sure to include the album cover of Close The Distance in your set. Tell your followers how great the band’s live shows are and how excited you are to see them on the #GoToHell Tour. Include a link to purchase tickets. -Make a ‘#GoToHell Tour’ playlist on Spotify! Add all your favorite Go Radio songs to the playlist and make sure “Go To Hell” is the first track on the playlist. The other top Go Radio tracks should be off Close The Distance such as “Collide” and “I Won’t Lie”. Feel free to add some songs from other artists on the #GoToHell Tour. Share the playlist you created on Facebook and make sure you are telling your friends how great Go Radio is and encourage them to check out your playlist. Inform them that Go Radio has an upcoming show in your area and how you’re to see them. (1 screenshot)

-Take your iPod to a local competitive show, skate park, Hot Topic or anywhere potential new fans of Go Radio would be. Ask them to preview “Go To Hell” and let them know Go Radio has a show coming up in the area. Let them know the date, venue as well as where to buy tickets for the show… If they like “Go To Hell” allow them to preview other songs off Close The Distance. The point is to encourage people that may not be familiar with Go Radio (or might not even know Go Radio entirely) to attend the show and become fans! (5 different photos)

-One poster MUST be hung up at the venue prior to the show, make sure to write the date and time on the poster. (2 photos, one close up so I can see what was written on the poster, and the other of the poster with the surrounding area included.)

-The other 4 posters should be placed at places such as Hot Topic, DTox, record stores, FYE, HMV, your school ect. Make sure to write in the date, time, venue, and other bands playing. (8 photos total, 2 pictures of each poster put up. One picture must be close up so I can see what was written on it, and the other must show the poster and its surrounding area)

*Bad places to hang posters : Wal-Mart, Gas Stations, Fast Food Places ect.

*Call the venue to make sure they will allow putting up posters on the day of. If they will not, email me so we can figure something else out

NOTE: Do not make more than one online post a day! The point is to promote the #GoToHell Tour and Go Radio without spamming your friends/ followers with too many posts at once. Sharing too much at once can be overwhelming, and will most likely cause someone to ignore them which doesn’t help the band at all. Spread your posts as much as you can to reach as many people as possible. Limit your posts to one a day.

For promoting during the show:

-When you get to the venue you will need to hang up posters throughout the venue. Try to hang them in places a lot of people will see them, like by the entrance, merch table, the bar, the bathrooms, etc. You should write important info on the posters such as set times. Take two pictures for every poster, one zoomed in show what is written and one zoomed out to show where it is. We need you to include a caption / description with every picture you send as well. Five posters should be hung up in the venue. (10 photos - 1 zoomed in & 1 zoomed out of each)

-Snipes (plain looking posters) should be picked up at the merch table (total of four from each band) these should be put up in blocks of four so that it makes a square. (2 photos - one for each block zoomed out)

-The stickers should be passed out to fans at the show. If the venue allows stickers to be placed on the walls and such, no more than 3 of the stickers should be used for that. (5 photos of stickers being passed out / or 4 photos of stickers being passed out along with one where stickers were placed in the venue)

-Gather at least 20 emails on your sign-up sheet. (Turn in a typed up list of email addresses in an excel spread sheet)

-During Go Radio’s set, take a live photo of them performing and post it on Instagram, Twitpic, Facebook share, etc. Make sure to tag the band and hash tag anything pertaining to the picture (i.e. Close The Distance, Go To Hell Tour, Go Radio, Rock, Live Show, Fearless Records, band member(s), song title etc) and mention how great it is seeing the band perform live. (Minimum 1 screenshot included in your post-show report)

Post-Show Promo:

-No later than two days after your show, make an online review of the tour! You may choose to make a YouTube video (you may include live footage) and share it on Facebook, make a tumblr post (Make sure you are including epic live photos) etc. It’s your choice! Keep in mind that your review should be genuine and mention parts of the show you enjoyed the most such as memorable moments, favorite song performances and meeting the band etc. The point is to let your friends, followers and other viewers know that you had a blast and encourage them to check out the band! Don’t forget to tag the band and use appropriate hash tags! (Minimum 1 screenshot included in your post-show report)

-On a separate social site where you shared your online review of the tour, share Go Radio’s new music video for “Go To Hell” (look for the link during the tour when it premieres) and let your friends/ followers know how great the song is. Make a connection to your experience at the show and encourage everyone to check out the band. Please tag the band and include the iTunes link for Close The Distance. (1 screenshot)
