“Starlight” Single Release Mission

Hey Team!

Thanks to everyone that has joined the team and helped with the last mission.  It went really well!

Tonight Alive has released another new single, called “Starlight” today.  It is now available on iTunes along with the music video.  Make sure you help spread the word!  The band also launched the iTunes pre-order today, so make sure you check that out  too.

Mission Details

Signup Deadline:  January 27^th

Due Date: January 30^th, 2012

Prize: For completing this mission, you will receive a Tonight Alive rubber bracelet and Tonight Alive poster.  Also, the person who goes above and beyond and does the best job will get a pair of tickets to a future Tonight Alive concert.

iTunes Promo

• “Like” the new single, “Starlight” on iTunes using Ping.  If you don’t have an account on Ping, please make one.  To “Like” the single, click the little button next to “Buy” button.  (1 screenshot)

•  Give the track a 5 star rating on iTunes. (1 screenshot)

• Leave a review of the track on iTunes.  The idea is to encourage other people to buy it, so talk about how much you like the song. (1 screenshot)

Facebook Promotion

•  Share the “Starlight” iTunes link on Facebook in a status update.  In your status update, make sure you tag Tonight Alive and include the track title.  To include the iTunes link in your status, copy and paste it into the text bar.  After you paste it into the text bar, you can actually erase it from the text so that it looks cleaner.  The link will still be attached, but just won’t be part of the text.  (1 screenshot)

• Throughout the week do at least one additional status update on Facebook about the single that includes the music video.  Don’t do this update on the same day that you post the iTunes link; do it later in the week.  (1 screenshot)

• Share the album artwork on your Facebook page and include a link to the iTunes pre-order.  In the status text, or in the caption, include the info about the pre-order.  Include the fact that fans can save money by pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition. (1 screenshot)

• Tweet about the new single and include a link to music video.  Make sure you tag Tonight Alive (@TonightAlive) and hash tag #Starlight #Tonight Alive. (1 screenshot)

Polyvore Promotion

• Create an account on Polyvore.com and friend the Fearless Records page     http://fearlessrecords.polyvore.com/.  (1 screenshot)

• Take a screen shot of Jenna in the “Starlight” music video and try and re create that “look” on Polyvore.  In your design include the Tonight Alive logo, the screenshot of Jenna, the album artwork for “What Are You So Scared Of?” or single artwork for “Starlight”.  (1 screenshot)

•  Post that design onto Tumblr with a link to the music video and hash tag #Tonight Alive, #Starlight, and #What Are You So Scared Of?.  (1 screenshot)

Tonight Alive - “Breaking & Entering” Mission

Hey Team!

Today is an exciting day for Tonight Alive.  The band has released their first single off of their upcoming album What Are You So Scared Of?, “Breaking & Entering”.  The song is available to purchase on iTunes and a music video for the track is now available too!
