HEY TEAM!

As you all have probably heard by now our boys in For All Those Sleeping are releasing their new music video for “Mark My Words” Monday, February 4th! This video has a lot of anticipation behind it and we really need to help make this music video have a huge release!

MISSION DESCRIPTION: Promote the new “Mark My Words” music video by completing the following tasks. This is a two-part mission. You must complete the both parts of the mission to receive the prize.

Hello Team!

For All Those Sleeping & Upon This Dawning will be on the Filthy February Tour Pt. 1 This Spring (February 1st - February 12th) with I See Stars, Get Scared, & Palisades.This is going to be a great tour for For All Those Sleeping and Upon This Dawning, so we’ll need your help making this tour as successful as possible! For All Those Sleeping will also be on Pt. 2 of The Filthy February Tour (February 22nd - March 1st) with I See Stars, Get Scared, Capture The Crowning, & Ice Nine Kills.

This mission is for PART 2 ONLY
I will send out a seperate email for Part 1. This is a tour sign up mission where you sign up and complete the mission for a guest list spot for your tour date. We only have a limited number of spots per date where we will contact you to confirm your date. (This is NOT a mandatory mission)

NOTE: Do not
make more than one online post a day! The point is to promote the tour, For All Those Sleeping and Upon This Dawning without spamming your friends/ followers with too many posts at once. Sharing too much at once can be overwhelming, and will most likely cause someone to ignore them which doesn’t help the bands at all. Spread your posts as much as you can to reach as many people as possible. Limit your posts to one a day.

Posters:

One poster MUST be hung up at the venue prior to the show, make sure to write the date, time, venue, and other bands playing your date on the poster. (2 photos, one close up so I can see what was written on the poster, and the other of the poster with the surrounding area included.)
The other 4 posters should be placed at places such as Hot Topic, DTox, record stores, FYE, HMV, your school ect. Make sure to write in the date, time, venue, and other bands playing your date. (8 photos total, 2 pictures of each poster put up. One picture must be close up so I can see what was written on it, and the other must show the poster and its surrounding area)

Bad places to hang posters: Wal-Mart, Gas Stations, Fast Food Places ect.
Call the venue to make sure they will allow putting up posters on the day of. If they will not, email me so we can figure something else out

Competitive Promotion

Print out the Tour Poster (4 to a page) to cut up. Make sure to leave room at the bottom of each flyer to add their local show date information. Take these flyers and pass them out other shows that you are attending before your FFT date. (2 photos of you handing out the flyers)

During The Show Promotion

When you get to the venue you will need to hang up posters throughout the venue. Try to hang them in places a lot of people will see them, like by the entrance, merch table, the bar, the bathrooms, etc. You should write important info on the posters such as set times. Take two pictures for every poster, one zoomed in show what is written and one zoomed out to show where it is. Five posters should be hung up in the venue. (10 photos - 1 zoomed in & 1 zoomed out of each)

Snipes (plain looking posters) should be picked up at the merch table (total of 4 from each band (8 all together.) These should be put up in blocks of 4 so that it makes a square. (2 photos - one for each block zoomed out)

The stickers should be passed out to fans at the show. If the venue allows stickers to be placed on the walls and such, no more than 3 of the stickers should be used for that. (5 photos of stickers being passed out / or 4 photos of stickers being passed out along with one where stickers were placed in the venue) Helpful Hint: A good way to get email sign ups is to trade them a sticker for their information.

Gather at least 20 emails on your sign-up sheet. (Please turn type all of the emails into an excel spreadsheet just like the one you’re going to get people to sign up on.)

Instagram:

During For All Those Sleeping’s set, take a live photo of them performing and post it on Instagram, Twitpic, Facebook share, etc. Make sure to tag the band and hash tag anything pertaining to the picture (i.e. Outspoken, For All Those Sleeping, Fearless Records, band member(s), song title etc) and mention how great it is seeing the band perform live. (Minimum 1 screenshot included in your post-show report)

Post-Show Promotion:

No later than two days after your show, make an online review of the tour! You may choose to make a YouTube video (you may include live footage) and share it on Facebook, make a Tumblr post (don’t forget to include epic live photos) etc. It’s your choice! Keep in mind that your review should be genuine and mention parts of the show you enjoyed the most such as memorable moments, favorite song performances and meeting the band etc. The point is to let your friends, followers and other viewers know that you had a blast and encourage them to check out the bands! Don’t forget to tag the band and use appropriate hash tags! (Minimum 1 screenshot & a link to your review included in your post-show report.)

On a separate social site from where you shared your online review of the tour, share For All Those Sleeping’s lyric video for “Mark My Words” and let your friends/ followers know how great the song is. Make a connection to your experience at the show. Please tag the band and include the iTunes link. (1 screenshot)

For All Those Sleeping will be headlining the Remember Your Roots Tour this winter (November 30th - December 15th) with special guests Close to Home, The Browning, My Ticket Home, & Buried in Verona. This is a huge tour for the guys, so we’ll need your help making this tour as successful as possible. If you would like to help out, read the following information very carefully, and sign up as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT: Only sign up if you are 100% sure you can complete your pre-show report which is due one week prior to the show and a post-show report due no later than one week after your show. You must be able to attend the show to participate. Guest list spots are hard to come by and we need to make sure we are reserving them for teamers that deserve them!

Feel free to add some songs from other artists on the Remember Your Roots Tour. Share the playlist you created on Facebook and make sure you are telling your friends how great For All Those Sleeping is and encourage them to check out your playlist. For promoting during the show:

-When you get to the venue you must check in with someone in For All Those Sleeping/ Upon This Dawning band or crew. Your first priority should be checking in with the Tour Manager, if he is not available look for a band member. Your last option should be their merch person. The point of checking in with the band is to let them know you’re there promoting, to offer extra help, and to meet your favorite band! You can always ask them for extra posters to hang or extra stickers to pass out! After you check in, have them SIGN your email list. (1 picture of the signature in your post-show report.)

-The next task to do at the venue is hang up posters as soon as you get in the venue. Take two pictures for every poster, one zoomed in show what is written and one zoomed out to show where it is. We need you to include a caption / description with every picture you send as well. Five posters should be hung up in the venue. (10 photos - 1 zoomed in & 1 zoomed out of each)

-Snipes (plain looking posters) should be put up in blocks of four so that it makes a square. These are to be used only at the show. Please pick them up at the merch table when you arrive. (2 photos - one for each block zoomed out)

-The stickers should be passed out to fans at the show. If the venue allows stickers to be placed on the walls and such, no more than 3 of the stickers should be used for that. (5 photos of stickers being passed out / or 4 photos of stickers being passed out along with one where stickers were placed in the venue)

-Gather at least 20 emails on your sign-up sheet. (Turn in a typed up list of email addresses in an excel spread sheet)

-During For All Those Sleeping’s set, take a live photo of them performing and post it on Instagram, Twitpic, Facebook share, etc. Make sure to tag the band and hash tag anything pertaining to the picture (i.e. song title, etc) and mention how great it is seeing the band perform live. (Minimum 1 screenshot included in your post-show report)
